Rhian Ramos

Rhian Denise Ramos Howell is a Welsh-Filipino television and movie actress that took various roles in GMA 7 primetime television shows including Captain Barbell and Lupin as well as the movie The Promise. She was recently tagged as one "100 Most Beautiful Stars" by YES! Magazine and ranked 12th "100 Sexiest Women in the World" for 2009.

Early life and career

Rhian is the daughter of Gareth Howell, a Welsh man based in Thailand, and Clara Ramos, a Bicolana. Her interest in acting was apparent during her grade school years when she joined various school plays at De La Salle-Zobel.

She started modelling at the age of 15 and appeared in a TV commercial for Mc Donald's McJelly trio. The commercial appearance was noticed by producer Annette Gozon-Abrogar who convinced Rhian to get into showbiz.

She will be playing lead roles in the upcoming movie Ang Panday and the Filipino adaptation of Korean drama hit Stairway to Heaven.
